Crochet. Traditional food

This project aims to address the two issues presented by the space: one related to aesthetic and the other to functionality.

First Objective (Aesthetic):

The first objective was to modernize the space while preserving its essence. We wanted customers to envision the type of food they would enjoy simply by entering the venue. To achieve this, special attention was given to decorative details, colors, and materials used. A palette of warm and natural colors was chosen, evoking the authenticity of traditional cuisine with a modern twist. The walls were decorated with photographs and visual elements representing the signature dishes on the menu, creating an immediate visual connection between the ambiance and the food.

Second Objective (Modernization):

The other objective was functional. The space had significant acoustic problems, making it difficult to hold a conversation without raising one’s voice. We decided to “turn necessity into virtue” and, instead of hiding the acoustic solution, incorporated part of it into the design. We used perforated wood panels, which not only addressed the acoustic issue but also became a central decorative element. These panels were transformed into a backdrop for a wall embroidery. This embroidery, in addition to offering a traditional aesthetic from a contemporary perspective, effectively resolved the acoustic problem.

The wooden flooring and furniture support both objectives. On one hand, they create a traditional yet contemporary atmosphere; on the other hand, they make the space pleasant for enjoying a delicious stew and having a conversation without raising one’s voice. The choice of wood was intentional; it provides warmth and comfort, essential elements for creating a cozy environment.

Additionally, warm light fixtures were installed and natural plants were incorporated into various corners of the space. These details not only beautify the area but also contribute to creating a relaxing and natural atmosphere. The traditional design lamps, combined with modern elements, help maintain a balance between the old and the new.

Furthermore, the furniture layout was designed to optimize space and facilitate movement. Tables and chairs of various sizes and styles were strategically placed to create intimate and cozy zones, ideal for enjoying a meal with good company.

Conclusion:

In summary, the modernization of the space not only improved its aesthetics but also addressed significant functional issues. The use of natural materials and the focus on a decor that blends traditional with contemporary resulted in a unique space. This environment invites customers to enjoy a complete gastronomic experience, where excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere perfectly complement each other.
